I'm happy to promote KPJ Jones version, which is not an animated version, but has the sounds at the appropriate times of day. 'Big Ben Classic' is unique, and will display the actual clock face, with realistic hand movement, plus play the Westminster Chimes on each quarter-hour, and will mark each hour with a number of tolls of Big Ben itself . To run the program you need an IBM-type PC, running any version of Microsoft Windows. You will need some multimedia capability and a sound card to really feel like you are at Westminster, but the program will still run without a sound card. The program comes with its own installer and the most realistic recording of the chimes. To enable authorised use of the program, To install the program, first Unzip the downloaded file.Then launch the Setup program by double-clicking on the Setup.exe Application program, and extensive instructions will be given to you. If you have no software to unzip the free download of the program, click on http://www.winzip.com to find Winzip for Windows, which will do the job. Put a shortcut to it in your desktop for easy access. If you change the time on your system clock, the analogue display may take up to a minute to re-synchronise to the correct time. |
